Morning everyone!

It is a gorgeous day out here!  Not too hot not too cold and NO rain for the day!!   Our central air went out yesterday needs another motor outside again hope to have it fixed this weekend.  At least I can still open some windows for a breeze  until the hotter weather returns!  

I have been having a lot of down time lately just relaxing and doing some thinking.  I Have been spending most of my time watching the D.I.Y. channel on tv and drooling at some of the remodeling on the houses!!!

I have finally finished winding all my threads I have laying around onto cards turned out I had way more than I thought!!!LOL  took me two weeks to get them all done.

Lets see   here are some of the things I have puttered around doing.

My poor little Princess I stood on her by accident yesterday thought I had broken her leg but she hobbled off to the bedroom and dragged her teddy bear from the bed to the couch and  sat cuddleing it most of the afternoon I felt awful! she is better today!!!

Hi there,

This month has almost gone already!  I haven't done much craft wise so far  I did finish another block on the wish quilt and I nearly finished a second one not too many more to do .  I have been winding all my dmc floss onto paper discs to have them ready to go still have a lot to wind hopefully by the end of the week I will have accomplished that project!! 
The last of the packages arrived from Walmart and various stores with all the yearly stock up I still need to find places for the shampoo bottles I ran out of space in the cabinet!!

Hubby went to his mothers on Saturday morning and took the supplies to her and got all her yard work caught up fixed her car and made sure they had enough groceries for a while.  He will be going on long hours shortly when the weather gets a bit better so needed to get some things done before hand.

On Sunday he installed the new black vent a hood  in the kitchen  the weekend before that the fridge came and  my son Kyle and my hubby installed that it makes such a difference the house is quite now no loud motor running!! and it looks nice having matching again.  Now that just leaves the floor and a new faucet to be installed and the center counter to be re finished (butcher block needs seasoned again)  after that we will have the house completed up to the hallway . so we can say about 3/4 done now!  I will be so glad when we get it all repaired and back in shape.  We have to wait now until the ground drys up good to get the leveling done before we can go much farther we are hoping it will get done in april but we will see.

Hi everyone!

Not much new here at the moment.  I have been busy working on the house trying to get repairs caught up with Hubby and rearranging things. We decided to start clearing out a lot of things that we haven't used in years amazing what you find in the back of cabinets!!!LOl

Hubby finally put up shelves in the utility room for supply storage and trimmed down kitchen cabinet to actually fit the new fridge. We ordered a new black fridge 21 cu ft and a black vent a hood my appliances will all match now we still have white freezers but that I don't mind.  All the shelving in the kitchen is done now and in place as well so that doesn't leave much left to be re done but the floor and faucet.  I will be glad when we get that all finished then we will have 3/4 of the house all repaired and lasting for another 10-20 yrs hopefully.  we have changed sockets while we were at it and boy did we find some not so nice surprises so was glad we took care of the wiring.

Got our taxes done as well just waiting for refund to come in.  Stocked up the household for the year and ordered yard equipment for Hubby so hopefully this year will be the year of repairs!!

Craft wise I have had a slow year this year still working on my Wish quilt block I did a little on it but not much.

I bought some fabric from silkweaver  still have some more to come in.

I have been reading a book by Kim Harrison trying to catch up on my series before the next one comes out!  We have had a good bit of cold and rainy weather the last few days  and it looks like we will have some more the rest of the week. I will have a lazy week I think now and try to catch up with the sewing.

I received my Valentine Swap from Hollie Poley !  She sent me a lovely Pin cushion with cat paw prints! and the back has a place for my scissors as well as three candy bars I don't have the candy to show you I ate it before I took my pictures! sorry  but it was good!!LOL

I also finished January Calender Girl.

Hi everyone!

It is cold here this morning but it sure is colder at my brothers and sisters houses!!  out temp is 30 and my sister is at 7 and brothers 1 and o   I don't miss the snow!!!LOL

I got another block done on the Wish quilt and another two printed on and ready to go over the weekend.

I took a break from it to work on January Calender Girl cross stitch by Little House Needleworks I hope to finish it by tonight but we will see.
I also finished pot holders for January for Crafts Delight group.

well I tried to take more pictures to show you but they aren't getting through on yahoo so I will cut this short this week.!  Hope you  all have a great week and keep warm,!!

Morning!!  Another week already this year looks like it might be a fast one again!

I finished two blocks on the wish quilt and have prepared two more to work on this week. I am having so much fun with this quilt!!!

I also finished a swap just have to get it packed to mail!

I took time out to read a new book that I have been waiting on for awhile so that is really all I have got done!!I'm hoping to get to my LE material this weekend after Hubby moves his extra wood out of the way of the box but until he does I 'm stuck!!! today I will sit with the tracing paper and get the applique drawn on to it ready to go.

Morning!  This week is going by fast so far.  I have been doing a bit of embroidery this week. 

I made a start on another block from the Wish quilt hope to have it finished today.

I also made the  embroidery part of a gift  will work on finishing it today.

My poor floors need to be washed today I will have to get them done after my son goes to work. It has been cold for us here so I haven't felt like leaving the living room where I have the space heater running it is meant to be warmer today so I will bit the bullet and get the housework done then work on my embroidery.

I received three of my cross stitch kits as well this week. Hope to get one started tomorrow but we will see.

Hi everyone,

It's a new year!! I hope everyone has a great coming year with plenty of good health and  happiness.

I have been taking things slow the last few months. Did a bunch of down sizing and sorting at the house still have a lot to go through but am determined that 2014 I will have my house in order with repairs and room made.

Hubby made me a beautiful chest of drawers for my  hand stitching  then he was on a roll and decided to keep going over the holidays !! He made his bedside table then a set of new shelves for the kitchen.  He bought the wood to re make shelves in the other section of the kitchen for more storage  and for the hall bathroom shelve unit.  that will just leave our bathroom to get one done. we are building upwards now as I can't get down easy to reach storage at ground level!!!

Well craft wise I have been back to hand work now I don't plan on many big projects this year on the sewing machine.  I have started on Love entwined and that is one of the main goals this year.  I have also been working on Red Brolly "Wishes"  I have the pattern all saved and am finally getting to it.
Winter in Blog land is another one I have started  this year I though I would work on things that I have saved to do that I really really want to do for myself.!!

I did make a start on my mega purchase of cross stitch kits!!LOL  Note to self  don't buy any more for a few years!!!!!   a computer can be such a great tool if used correctly but  for craftaholics   not so good!! too easy to access shops with out  the bother of dressing and leaving house in the cold!!! And hey you can even shop on your own time schedule!!LOL   Computers should come with a warning for crafters  " Danger to bank account use with caution!"
